First Look: Air Yeezy 2
The hype begins in 5..4..3..2..1. After Nike signed a deal with Kanye West a few years ago, made him the first non-athlete to get a Nike model. The link between the two did not come as a surprise to the sneaker culture as hip hop ans basketball have been joined since the beginning of its inception. Hence when the Air Yeezy's dropped and sold out in all 3 of the difference colorways in limited edition releases, leaving many people without the shoe added to their personal sneaker collection. Well, for those of you that missed out, your chance to redeem yourself is here. The preview for the Air Yeezy 2, even as blurry as it appears in these shots from the Nike Mini-movie The Black Mamba, has confirmed the rumor that the Air Yeezy's will be returning. Although, there are still many questions: Will is have the similar hi-top strap? What will the colorways be? We'll all have to wait for more pictures to surface but until then, lets examine these screenshots and patiently wait.

Know Your History: NBA
Although, now we have some pretty nice kicks from the NBAs biggest players; most of whom are black players, nearly 70 years ago, black and whites weren't even playing on the same court. As we celebrate Black History Month (BHM) with our new Jordan BHM IIIs, or even the Nike "Know Your History" tee, take time to think about the history and how far we as a people have came and how far as a people we have yet to go.
NBA FACTS: During the 1950-1951 Season, Chuck Cooper became the first black player to be drafted when he was chosen by Boston; Nat "Sweetwater" Clifton became the first black player to sign an NBA contract when he signed with New York, and Earl Lloyd became the first black player to play in an NBA regular-season game.
